About this event

The session will be hosted by Professor Steve Boardman, Graduate Recruitment Officer, who will provide an overview of what you can expect. An administrative member of our Graduate School, will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have in relation to your studies, such as student support, matriculation or course enrolment.

We know this is a strange and uncertain time, and you may be wondering what the coming academic year will be like. With this session we’ll aim to provide you with the latest information on our planning. We will discuss how you will access your research and supervision, both on campus and online, as well as the steps we are taking to build and foster a community of students in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, both here in Edinburgh and around the world. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Please note the focus of this session will be on research and supervision within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology rather than issues around admissions, visas, accommodation, etc.

The session is delivered using Blackboard Collaborate. You will be able to participate in the session and ask questions via text chat or speak to us directly. Google Chrome is the recommended browser to use and please make sure you have working speakers or headphones, so you can hear the session.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to speaking to you soon!
